Jim Dykes has worked Off Broadway, in summer stock, and other small theatres around the country.  He's also developed quite a career in television commercials and print advertisements.

Watch for Jim in 2009, 2010 & 2011 in these movies & TV shows:

Jim shot an episode of HBO'S BOARDWALK EMPIRE several months ago for the current season where he plays a ruthless cigar-smoking gangster/poker player in scenes with star Steve Buscemi. Scenes were shot in Brooklyn's Steiner Studios (the old Brooklyn Navy Yard!) as well as on location. 

THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt. Watch for Jim as a "farmer" with "NY congressional candidate" Matt Damon.
 

THE OTHER GUYS starring Will Ferrell & Mark Wahlberg (getting fake cocaine blown all over me)

THE BOUNTY HUNTER starring Jennifer Aniston & Gerard Butler. Look for Jim as a Security Guard as Jennifer flees the racetrack and gets thrown into the trunk of Gerry's car.

THE GOOD WIFE starring Juliana Margulies

SEX AND THE CITY 2 starring all the girls; Look for Jim in the opening scenes of the film

WALL STREET: MONEY NEVER SLEEPS starring Michael Douglas, Shia LeBouef, Susan Sarandon & Charlie Sheen. Look for me in the Borders Book Store as Michael Douglas' character (Gordon Gekko) is out of jail and having a book signing for his new book: GREED IS GOOD. We shot the scene at Borders on Broadway & Wall St--I'm one of the guys in line waiting for my book signed as Shia confronts Michael (Gekko)

30 ROCK Look for me as the "Icelandic cameraman" on Jenna's "werewolf" movie set in Iceland; this was a HOOT to film. Jane Krakowski ROCKS!!

LAW & ORDER SVU Watch for me in TWO episodes as Detective Joe Barnard. His episode of LAW & ORDER SVU was just recently played again (2011)....look for Jim as a distraught Dad with series guest star Sharon Stone.
