Commercial bus tours are ONE thing, but the way to really show your family NYC is a personal tour--guidebooks are cool (I've read dozens of them) but the things you'll remember most are my "insider's tidbits & anecdotes" which are not in books. PLUS you can "pick my brain" and get lots of helpful info to use the rest of your visit!

PLEASE don't be one of those families I see trudging around the streets & subways with your nose in a book thinking you can do it ALL yourself. Hire me for a few hours or a day and RELAX---you're on vacation! And knowing the history and "back-story" behind things adds to your enjoyment of this great metropolis.

Let me make the city FUN for you--every block and side street has a story, but you especially need a guide in the Ground Zero, Greenwich Village/SoHo & Harlem areas.

Commercial (double-decker) tour slogans are "unlimited hopping on & off". Then,you discover that you spend all day stopping and letting people "hop on" & "hop off"--this is when you realize that "unlimited hopping on & off" is a promotional gimmick...most people hop off and never hop back on out of frustration. • Walking Tours- Leave your guide books and drop the maps....See New York by foot, subway & bus...the way you always wanted...neighborhood by neighborhood, personally tailored to your abilities to walk and your interests. See and hear things that aren't in the guide books: history, legends, Pop Culture references, Movie and TV locations, celebrity home addresses and much more. Learn how to navigate the city's Metro (subways and buses). Explore neighborhoods such as: Greenwich Village, Grand Central Station, Times Square, SoHo, Wall Street, Ground Zero, Tri-Beca, Chelsea, Madison Square, Gramercy Park, Brooklyn and many others.

• Driving Tours- If you're not a big walker, let me provide a car, passenger van, SUV, limousine, mini-bus or full sized bus WITH driver (Ask for transportation quote-3 hour min.) with a town car & driver.
