GROUND ZERO TOURS

--personal, private in-depth walking tours

See MORE With Jim & UNDERSTAND What You're Seeing!

Things We'll See:

  • The 16 acre site of the Twin Towers and the 5 other buildings that encompassed the WTC location.
  • The emotional Eleven Tears Memorial dedicated to the 11 American Express workers who died that tragic day.
  • The Firefighters Memorial dedicated to the 343 NYC firemen who died on 9/11.
  • The NYC Policeman's Memorial
  • St. Paul's Chapel where George Washington worshipped in old New York. St. Paul's is known at The Chapel That Stood (it survived the WTC attacks as well as the fire that destroyed New York on Sept. 21, 1776
  • Ticker-tape alley aka The Canyon of Heroes..the site of many ticker tape/confetti parades to honor our heroes.
  • The Tribute Center (admission required)
  • The globe known as The Sphere which decorated the fountains in front of the Twin Towers and was picked out of the burning rubble to be erected in its damaged state as a temporary memorial.
  • The CROSS, formed out of the steel of Tower One as a beacon of hope in the days of the massive cleanup.
  • Many small out of the way places not seen on typical tours.

Hear personal 9/11 memories of the World Trade Center, his friends and acquaintances from the Towers.

If time allows, we'll walk up to the Courthouse District (Batman, Law & Order, CSI, etc.) and down to the Wall Street area, which is rich with colonial history, including the site of George Washington's house when New York was the nation's first capital, Alexander Hamilton's grave, the site where the Declaration of Independence was first read in New York and MUCH MORE!
